Internship packages

An introductory call about your goals, preferred department and interests; a guided placement search with interview opportunities shared with you; support through interviews, the offer and the contract; the Bali Guide; access to the Bali Interns community; and support from your first question to your last day.

Optional extras such as a visa, airport pickup, motorcycle rental, accommodation or insurance are not included. They are quoted and paid for separately.

Nothing when you apply — submitting an application is free. When you confirm you want to go ahead with the placement service, you pay an initial deposit of €100 towards the €250 package price. We will explain the payment details before you commit.

Online payments are charged in Indonesian rupiah. We convert at the European Central Bank reference rate plus a 2% conversion margin, rounded to the nearest rupiah, and show you every figure before you pay.

The final payment of €150 is due once your internship placement is confirmed and the relevant internship contract has been signed. This way, you know what placement you are committing to before paying the rest of the package price.

Students who need an internship as part of their university studies, and anyone who simply wants to gain practical experience and develop their skills in Bali. Get in touch and we will discuss your goals and help you explore suitable opportunities.

There are two different timeframes. Finding your placement: we aim to find it within the first month after your deposit, although timing depends on your preferences, qualifications, availability and what host companies need.

The internship itself: many companies offer internships lasting around four to six months. If you have a different timeframe in mind, let us know your preferred start date and duration, and we will do our best to find an opportunity that fits your plans.

We aim to find you a suitable placement within the first month of searching. That is our aim, not a guarantee: host companies make their own decisions, and we cannot promise a particular company, role or workplace experience.

What we do commit to: if no placement has been found by the end of the first month, you choose between a refund and one more month of searching — and if the extra month doesn’t work out, the applicable refund is issued promptly. The exact conditions are explained to you before you pay.

If we haven’t found a placement by the end of the first month, we talk it through with you and you decide: a refund, or one additional month of searching. We never extend the search without your agreement.

If you chose the extra month and no placement has been found by its end, the applicable refund is issued promptly.

Your €250 placement package does not include optional extras. We can arrange these for you:

• Internship visa: Coordinated with a visa-support agency we work with.
• Airport pickup / taxi: Priced by destination.
• Motorcycle rental and driving licence: Arranged with rental and licence providers.
• Accommodation: Help finding a villa, loft, guest house or room that suits your budget.
• International insurance: Information on options and the policy you choose.

How it works: you request an extra, we confirm the quote and payment instructions before you decide, you pay Bali Interns, and we pay the provider and coordinate the service. Availability and the provider’s own terms apply, and you are free to use other providers instead.
